projects

Creativity can never be stopped. No matter the current job or project, I’m always working on new (side) projects. Here’s an overview of some of the niche marketing projects and websites I’ve worked on.

Hit the ground running in New Zealand with a 123NZ starter kit

Goal: helping young travellers (18 to 30 years of age) from the Netherlands and Belgium with organising a working holiday to New Zealand.

123NZ makes organising a working holiday to New Zealand as easy as 1-2-3 by providing travel information, user experiences and working holiday starter kits. Instead of having to figure everything out themselves, the traveller enjoys full support in New Zealand, help with finding a job (seasonal work or professional), a bank account ready on the day of arrival, and heaps more.

DIY-OE | travel blog

DIYOE travel blog project

Travel inspiration from DIYOE travel blog

Goal:  showing how much fun it is to travel to Europe and travel through all different countries.

DIYOE – short for Do It Yourself Overseas Experience – started out as a website for young New Zealanders (in the age of 18 to 30) to organise their working holiday to countries like United Kingdom, Germany, and Holland.

Throughout time, DIYOE’s travel blog started to attract more and more travellers from other parts of the world, like the USA, Canada, UK, and heaps more. The blog posts written by fellow travellers about travelling through Europe gained much more attention than the rest of the website.

Therefore, DIYOE changed in June 2014 from Independent Overseas Experience Information Hub to Travel Blog… Being a 100% travel blog allowed it to focus more on backpackers and other (adventurous) travellers travelling to any place of interest in the world. The working holiday part for New Zealanders will be faded out eventually. The name DIYOE will remain! Just as our love for travelling.

Working holiday in New Zealand for Europeans

Goal: helping young European travellers (18 to 30 or 35 years of age*) with organising a working holiday to New Zealand (* exact age limit depends on the conditions of the working holiday visa which are set for each specific country by New Zealand Immigration).

A working holiday to New Zealand will be as easy as 1-2-3 with 123NZ and our working holiday starter kits, travel blog, and heaps more. All “boring things” are taken care of, while the traveller enjoys full support in New Zealand and the flexibility to plan his or her own working holiday.

Miljata’s LEGO Lab | unique LEGO project for kids

Miljata’s Bouwlab website

Project Miljata Bouwlab

Unique LEGO laboratory for kids

Goal: developing and launching an easy to use eCommerce platform for purchasing tickets and subscriptions to this unique LEGO Lab.

Miljata’s LEGO Lab is a one of a kind project in Enschede in the Netherlands. It is a fun place where kids can create whatever they want with the mountains of LEGO bricks that are at their disposal. Or they can participate in a course to learn the basics of programming with LEGO WeDo.

The many happy faces and enthusiastic stories after each session show that Miljata’s LEGO Lab is a huge success in the Netherlands. Due to this eCommerce platform, it’s easy for the parent to buy tickets while Miljata keeps track of the number of customers for each session.
